Who runs this site

CarbonAwarePM is an independent field journal written by Writam Bugga, who is responsible for the data described here.

What is collected and why

• Email (only if you subscribe): used solely to send occasional journal updates. Stored with the page you subscribed from. Never sold or shared.
• Usage analytics: Google Analytics 4 records anonymous usage such as pages viewed, time on page, scroll depth, link clicks, device and approximate region, to learn which topics are useful.

Cookies and third parties

Google Analytics sets first-party cookies. Subscriber emails are stored in a secure hosted database (Lovable Cloud). See how Google uses data from sites that use its services.

Your choices and rights

• Unsubscribe, or ask for your data to be accessed, corrected or deleted, by emailing writam@optimalbucket.com.
• Block analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on or your browser's tracking protection.
• Residents of the EU, UK and California have additional rights under GDPR and CCPA/CalOPPA; the same email handles those requests.

Retention

Emails are kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data follows Google Analytics default retention (up to 14 months).
